Spinal Decompression and DRX 9000 FAQ
How does Spinal Decompression Work ?
Our decompression system works by gently separating the vertebrae above and below the involved disc. This separation creates a negative pressure to be exerted on the disc creating a vacuum effect. The negative pressure draws the bulge or herniation back within the disc space similar to an eyedropper drawing in fluid. As this negative pressure draws more fluid, nutrients and oxygen back into the disc from the surrounding tissues, degenerative discs start to repair and re-hydrate.
