Manual Therapy

Our therapists are trained in a variety of manual therapy techniques that assist in the healing process, and many of them hold specialized certifications in manual therapy. The proper delivery of manual therapy techniques can have a significant impact with your recovery process.  A few methods that we use with our patients are:

- Myofascial Release

- Massages

- Soft Tissue Mobilizations

- Strain Counter Strain

Arlington Chiropractic offers two forms of spinal decompression.

- Lumbar decompression, which is dedicated to middle to low back issues.

- Cervical decompression, which is dedicated for neck related issues.

True decompression is a great tool to use to keep you from potentially having to have surgery.

If you have further questions, concerns or just want more information on what we do and the machines and techniques we use for decompression you may continue to read more here or call and ask for one of our certified decompression specialists to give you more information.

Interferential Therapy

Interferential current therapy is an effective therapy option used by many physiotherapy clinics in order to relieve pain and inflammation while helping to accelerate the healing process, and helping your body get back to a healthy pain free state.

Interferential Therapy is very useful with the treatment of inflammation, joint stiffness, edema, and muscular and circulatory disorders or issues.

Many patients that use interferential therapy show fewer complications moving forward than those who solely rely on medications for relieving pain.

At Arlington Chiropractic, depending on your particular case, we use a form of physical rehabilitation and start you out at a gradient, meaning we do not want to push your body too quickly while it is in the process of healing. So we begin with a few stretching techniques, again based off of your particular case, monitor your progress and show your progress to you. We then will suggest moving forward to some slight strengthening techniques. Then again based off of your progress through treatment, we will suggest a further regimen and teach you the entire process so that you may continue taking care of yourself after you have been educated in the proper way to perform these techniques and you feel comfortable performing them on your own, at home.

Chiropractic Adjustments

Our licensed doctors will be the only individuals performing chiropractic adjustments and techniques on you for your safety.

There are many techniques as there are many type of injuries and ailments and our doctors train and continue to be trained on these techniques to better understand and take care of you and your family.

We also understand you may have additional questions about adjustments or different techniques so we ask for you to please ask any questions regarding any procedure at all in your treatment.
